To hear the Lead tell it...
Prairie Fire barbershop quartet does not cut hair. The Prairie Fire Quartet has been singin' since the fall of 2008. They got their start singin' tunes in the barn stalls where the four of them work. One day another fella heard 'em bustin' a chord in the pig pen. Next thing ya know, people was askin' 'em to sing at birthday get-togethers, and church get-togethers, and weddin' get-togethers, and stuff. Well, here's the skinny about these guys.

Chuck Edwards had a farm E-I-E-I-O...just kiddin'. Chuck is a former bull ridin' champ. He rode the pro circuit for years. Then in the summer of 2006 Chuck had a serious ridin' accident that turned him into a boy soprano. Since then Chuck don't ride bulls no more, but he do sing the high notes really well!

Matt "the Stud" Webber is a very talented singer. His beautiful, lyrical voice has helped him win at least half a dozen karaoke contests. He's funny and he's attractive. He's also very good at writin' stuff (like this bio for instance). Of course, Matt sings the melody.

Barry Barlow is the oldest-lookin' member of Prairie Fire. He's white-haired and bow legged, and when he tries to grow a beard it comes in white. Most people don't know this, but Barry was the original inspiration for the Oklahoma State University Mascot, the Old Crotchety Cowboy. Barry is really, really, really above-average at singin' low notes.

Last but not least is Greg Yarnell. Greg is the twelve-time defendin' Cowley County cow chip throwin' champion. We've learned not to make him mad, unless you want a face full of manure. Greg can't sing high or low and his voice isn't as pretty as mine...I mean Matt's. So Greg sings the leftover notes.

We hope y'all like us as much as we like us. YEE-HAW!!!
